Introduction
The Diploma in Neurodiversity Teaching and Learning is a specialised professional development programme designed for educators, learning support professionals and school leaders seeking to build expertise in inclusive education and neurodiversity-informed teaching practices.
As classrooms become increasingly diverse, educators require the knowledge and skills to support neurodiverse learners, including students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other learning differences. This diploma equips participants with evidence-based strategies, practical tools and inclusive teaching approaches that promote engagement, participation and positive learning outcomes for all students.
Through a strengths-based and learner-centred approach, participants will develop a deeper understanding of neurodiversity in the classroom, differentiated instruction, social-emotional learning and inclusive educational practices. The programme empowers educators to create supportive learning environments that recognise individual strengths, reduce barriers to learning and foster a sense of belonging for every learner.
Whether working in early childhood, primary, secondary, or tertiary education, graduates will gain the confidence to implement effective learning support strategies, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams and advocate for educational inclusion within their schools and communities.
